Description

As a Technical Monitoring Specialist at INNIO you will be responsible for remotely monitoring engine data, identifying faults, and supporting service teams with technical guidance. You will also manage Myplant connectivity and administration, document findings, and help improve product quality through recurring issue analysis. The role requires technical knowledge, analytical skills, and strong communication abilities.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Monitor engine data remotely and raise alerts when anomalies are detected
  • Analyse faults and recommend the right course of action
  • Support field technicians and service managers with technical guidance
  • Log findings and prepare reports in the case tracking system
  • Coordinate on-site support when an issue cannot be resolved remotely
  • Flag recurring faults to help drive product quality improvements
  • Monitor engine connections on the Myplant platform and resolve connectivity issues (e.g. agent updates, firewall settings, offline assets)
  • Support Myplant administration — managing users, assets, and new customer account setup
  • Use digital tools and platforms (SFDC, myplant, Excel, Tableau)
  • Visit customer sites 2–3 times per year to maintain hands-on product and connectivity experience

Your Profile:

  • Technical background in electrical, mechanical, or field service
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams
  • Experience with Jenbacher gas engines is a strong advantage
  • Familiarity with remote connectivity tools or basic network and firewall concepts is a plus
  • Comfortable analysing operational data and identifying patterns
  • Clear and effective communicator, able to work with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Fluent English required; additional languages are an advantage
